There are many wrecked and/or derelict vessels in the Gulf of Paria
The students of the Bachelor of Science, Nautical Science/ Maritime Operations degree programme are currently undertaking a project, “Save Our Gulf of Paria,” which corresponds with the concept of our Service Learning Course which is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities.
